Apple announced Tuesday offering a “special one-day Apple shopping event” the day after Thanksgiving, but provided few other details, pcmag.com reports.
“The company unveiled its sale Web site Friday morning, and the most notable discount is $101 off the new 13-inch MacBook. The 2GHz MacBook usually runs $1,299 but is now available for $1,198. Prices on the 2.4GHz MacBook dropped from $1,599 to $1,498.
Apple also dropped $51 from the price of the white 13-inch MacBook, from $999 to $948, and the iMac 20-inch, with prices now ranging from $1,148 to $2,098.
Tuesday Apple has announced a new MacBooks and MacBook Pro with a chassis and glass multi-touch trackpads body.
The new one 15.4-inch LED display MacBook Pro comes with a new, black keyboard, a glass-coated display and larger glass trackpad.All this is packed into a slimmer, 0.95-inch case.
The new MacBook Pro should be in stores Wednesday.

Intel (NSDQ: INTC) has planed to roll out its new technology notebook platform, named Centrino 2, with higher performing processors than the previous generation and an optional integrated Wi-Fi/WiMax module. The platform will make its debut at a mid-afternoon news conference in San Francisco.
The technology was originally scheduled for release at Computex Taipei 2008 in early June, but was delayed due to problems with integrated graphics and wireless certification. These notebooks deliver outstanding dual-core performance, enhanced maintenance and management capabilities, and proactive security in an open LAN—even outside of the corporate firewall.4
